NY - 4th of July

For the 4th we took a short trip to NY. Watched the fireworks from Brooklyn on Saturday...

On Sunday we went to Absolute Bagel on the Upper West Side for breakfast..These are seriously the best bagels ever!!! Ian and I found this place about a year ago and haven't found anything better since..and we've been looking. Montréal is rumored to the best bagels - so we are taking a trip next weekend to Montréal to visit some of the well know bagel places & try them out.

Since we will be moving again we wanted to visit all our favorite places in NY....first of course was Absolute Bagel, then Ian wanted to visit 30 Rock one more time..

Then a stop @ Magnolia Bakery for a slice of their delicious Ice Box Cake...

Then on to Central Park past Strawberry Fields to the Dakota.

And one last stop to Café Habana for a burrito and mexican style corn before we got on the train back to CT.
